Tampa Employment Attorney

Seeing employees and employers through disputes in Florida and nationwide

Saady & Saxe, P.A. has many roles in representing our clients — from counselors and business advisors to experienced litigators who protect your interests in court if all other means of resolution fail.

Tampa employment attorneys Claire Saady and Dan Saxe have committed their more than 60 years of combined legal experience to providing zealous, professional representation to employees seeking relief from discrimination or unfair labor practices and to employers needing vigorous defense for claims alleging wrongful conduct. In every matter, they combine high-quality legal work with an understanding of their clients’ needs, while keeping a sharp focus on up-front problem-solving to avoid litigation.

Experienced Tampa employment attorneys delivering valuable legal solutions

Saady & Saxe, P.A. is a team of experienced litigators. While they always seek to resolve disputes in the most positive and cost-efficient manner, they do not hesitate to initiate litigation to vindicate their clients’ rights when all other avenues have been exhausted. They are tenacious, and always enter the courtroom prepared and determined to win.

We provide employment legal services in:

Our Tampa employment attorneys have particular experience in both prosecuting and defending discrimination, harassment, retaliation and minimum wage cases. We represent clients in federal and state courts, before various administrative agencies, and in arbitration and mediation

Fair Housing Act Claims

The Fair Housing Act prohibits discrimination in the sale, rental and financing of dwellings based on race, color, religion, sex or original national origin (protected classes).  The statute was amended in 1988 to add disability and familial status.  The goal of the statute is a uniform housing market that does not arbitrarily restrict access based upon a person’s characteristics rather than their ability to pay.  Saady and Saxe attorneys put their experience and knowledge of the complexities of the statute to work for their clients, taking on sellers, lenders and landlords that refuse to make housing available, fail to make reasonable accommodations or otherwise thwart the purposes of the Act.

Focusing on Tampa employment law, insurance malpractice and commercial litigation matters

At Saady & Saxe, P.A., our priority is providing quality legal representation that achieves our clients’ goals while controlling their costs. Taking a case to court is best avoided, when possible, to conserve legal fees and time. But at our law firm, we never settle a case if it puts our client at a disadvantage. We resolve cases on our terms, making it crystal clear to opposing counsel that we have no fear of stepping into a courtroom.

Having honed their skills as Manhattan attorneys handling top-level business law and litigation matters, the partners of Saady & Saxe, P.A. joined forces at the start of the new century to bring their large-firm experience to the small-firm setting of their Tampa area practice. From the start, the firm has served clients locally, nationally and internationally, providing each with unsurpassed representation in legal matters ranging from contract disputes to discrimination to insurance negligence and bad faith claims.

We are highly experienced in handling a range of legal matters, including:

Employment Law: Workplace rights can be a source of contention for employees and employers. State and federal laws establish the rights and obligations of both parties in an employment relationship. Saady & Saxe, P.A. is well-versed in employment law and handling cases stemming from wage and hour violations, overtime violations, sexual harassment and all forms of workplace discrimination. In addition, to ensure that businesses are compliant with current employment regulations and to head off legal disputes, we offer guidance through employment audits and work with companies on employee handbooks, antidiscrimination policies, manager guides and live training seminars for all managers and employees.

Commercial Litigation:  Saady & Saxe, P.A provides first-rate legal representation to clients both large and small in commercial litigation. From multimillion-dollar disputes with commercial lenders to breach-of-contract actions in state and federal courts, Dan and Claire have combined their more than 60 years of experience as a strong base to guide clients through the uncertain and expensive litigation process. That experience, when combined with Dan and Claire’s aggressive advocacy, gives their commercial clients a valuable resource to successfully resolve even the most complex legal matters.

Construction Law:  Construction litigation is a minefield for the inexperienced attorney. The relationships between the players are complex, and deciphering claims between and among owners, architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, material men and suppliers requires skill and knowledge born of the kind of experience that Saady & Saxe, P.A. can bring to bear on such disputes. Dan was an adjunct professor of law at Stetson Law School, where he created and taught a course on construction law. His experience enables him to assist clients in navigating the complex relationships and issues that are unique to construction disputes, and the guidance he provides is invaluable to clients who are frequently at a loss as to how to handle them.

In every case we pursue, Saady & Saxe, P.A. is committed to offering the personalized attention of a small practice backed by the broad experience and capabilities forged in large firms. Each Tampa attorney at our firm puts your needs first and strives to provide high-quality representation in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.
